The Energy Centre will supply heat into Bristol's Heat Network using   water source heat pump technology which extracts water from Bristol's Floating Harbour.

The Principal Contractor (Vital Energi) was contracted via an NEC 4 Option A design & Build Contract Completed and Administered by DQS Consulting. With practical completion in June 2022 the project has been delivered on time and within budget.

The Energy Centre won the European Heat Pump of the year award 2022.

DQS are providing client side Project Management, Contract Administration, Programme Scheduling and Principal Designer duties for this large scale city district heating network in the heart of Bradford.

Providing low carbon heat to numerous connections throughout the city, with DQS operating as experts in the NEC 4 Contract (administered via CEMAR)
