Our Group Projects

Sir Robert Peel Court

The scope of the project consisted of the demolition of an existing police station and associated outbuildings and to replace them with a mixed-use development, comprising of retail space at ground level with 32 residential apartments constructed above. Below is an aerial view of the site boundary.

PMRS, a sister company of DQS Consulting Limited, were employed to act as Project Managers, Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyors for the project following the collapse of a local Main Contractor.

Taking control mid-construction presented a difficult task, however due to excellent organisational skills and will to succeed, PMRS together with DQS Consulting were able to deliver the project within budget and to revised deadlines.

Wolverhampton Solar Farm

PMRS are helping City of Wolverhampton take major steps by making Wolverhampton carbon zero. The solar farm will help to power New Cross Hospital which will become the first hospital in England to fully operate and use its own solar farm renewable energy. Green energy sources that are already being used at the hospital such as the harnessing heat from the waste incinerator and a combined heat and power systems, it will all come from the solar farm.

The new solar farm will help save the Trust around £15-20 million over the next 20 years and will cover the size of 22 football pitches which is the standard size of a landfill site. The solar farm is looking to be completed next year in the Spring and hopefully over time this will help to save more and use more renewable energy.
